Analysts see Hamas’ visit to Jordan as a direct result of a year of uprisings in the Arab world. With the strong popular support for Islamist movements in Arab countries as well as in Jordan, the Jordanian government realizes that stronger ties with Hamas are inevitable and will send a clear signal to the biggest opposition group in the country.
