Deployment of thousands of U.S. troops in Israel, a start of war against Iran?

The deployment of 9,000 US soldiers on Israeli soil has led many to interpret the move as yet another sign that a war with Iran may occur in the near future. Military expert Jamal Mathloum say that this may not be a direct sign of a war to come, but rather of the deepening of the long lived Israeli-American defense cooperation and  their readiness in case of a regional conflict arising.
